Traditionally, the living room is the main place in the house, where you can comfortably receive your friends. An assembly hall is the central meeting place before an event. COME AND SEE! Listening, looking, discovering, even discussing is what we will do in this great hall of the Architects' Association. We propose to turn everything off. Like in the Great Circus before the show starts. We turn off everything to look only at the spotlight, to facilitate concentration, relaxation and enjoyment for the 5 senses.
We propose a big BOX, taking advantage of the maximum volume allowed. The compressed preamble and the well-marked orthogonal ribs emphasize the parallelepiped, ready for the big show. We propose a VERSATILE space, easy to adapt to different needs, like the scene of a theatre, preserving the exciting atmosphere required. The box is MATERIALISED by means of wooden ribs, vertically and horizontally, marking the volume well. On the floor, a silent linoleum flooring.
The air and ventilation installations are concealed behind this torn skin. LIGHTING is particularly important. To avoid disturbing the eye, we propose indirect lighting between the ribs. Moreover, it is FLEXIBLE, making it possible to create an optimal atmosphere for any of the events that take place there.
