Installation
The installation system offers various installation possibilities over wooden battens or metal profiles, with clips or direct attachments to the structure. To achieve an optimum absorption coefficient, it is necessary to leave a space of at least 30 mm between the back of the panels and the wall, filled with mineral fiber with a density between 30 and 40 kg/m3.

Materials and finishes
The panels are manufactured on MDF and can be finished with a wide range of wood veneer species, RAL or NCS lacquers, laminates, or melamine designs. Additionally, they can also be produced with colored fiberboard or plywood boards. Accessories are available to improve the finishes of installations, such as decorative panels, skirting boards, corner pieces, and trims.

The D+ panels can also be personalized with images and patterns by changing the thickness of the machined lines, resulting in highly personalized decorative results. With a high coefficient of acoustic absorption, the products feature a linear, elegant, and discreet design, highly suitable for acoustic conditioning that requires a high level.

Bofill Foundation Headquarters
The inspiring renovation of the Barcelona factory presented a unique challenge, achieving optimal acoustics within a modern, open-plan office environment while preserving the historic charm of the exposed brick and wooden beams.  This is where Decustik's D+ System Grooved acoustic panels worked efficiently. The panels, supplied as grooved slats, offer exceptional sound absorption properties. This is essential in open-plan offices, where sound can easily travel and create distractions. By strategically installing the D+ System on specific sections of the ceiling, particularly above collaborative workspaces, the architects could create pockets of acoustic comfort without compromising the overall open design.

Almirall’s canteen

The renovation of Almirall's head office in General Mitre includes work on the company's canteen. The aim is to improve the appearance and acoustic comfort of the entire space while retaining the capacity for 151 diners. To enhance the acoustics, modular cladding made of micro-perforated wood panels with rock wool inside was added to the two large side walls of the canteen, finished in white marble. The panels were designed with a slight inclination to incorporate plants and indirect lighting. The D+ System's panels not only serve a functional purpose but also offer design versatility. Their beautiful white finish perfectly complemented the existing marble walls. The thoughtful design integrated the acoustic solution seamlessly into the overall aesthetic, enhancing the canteen's visual appeal.

Reforma salón de actos del colegio territorial
The Architects' Association Hall in Valencia created a versatile space that could transition from a bustling assembly hall to an intimate, sensory-focused environment for presentations and discussions. Decustik's D+ System Grooved acoustic panels played a key role in this project. Traditionally, assembly halls can suffer from excessive noise and reverberation. Here, D+ System panels (models D+002 and D+003) were strategically installed. These wood slat panels with sound absorption capabilities, effectively dampen echoes and help create a quieter, more focused atmosphere. This allows for clear communication during presentations and discussions, enhancing the overall user experience. The project aimed to create a space that engaged all five senses. The D+ System's contribution extends beyond just acoustics. The natural wood finish of the panels adds a touch of warmth and texture, complementing the overall sensory experience.
