Solid, deeply flamed ash wood and sage surfaces turn the elongated tubular Gründerzeit kitchen into a cooking and lounge area. The old door frame profiling serves as a template for the curtain-like profiling of the kitchen fronts. The kitchen itself follows the floor plan geometry and opens up to an also newly designed dining area based on the same choice of materials and colour scheme.
