SHOEBALOO is a home-grown brand that has gone on to international fame and success. Launched in the early 1970s with a single shoe store in the Amsterdam borough of Jordaan, SHOEBALOO is now a fixture in all the top retail locations in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Maastricht and Utrecht, and carries the shoes, handbag and accessories collections of names like Prada, Christian Dior, Gucci, Chloé, Lanvin and Alexander Wang. And just as sensational as the collections are the interiors of the stores: outspoken in style, colour and interior. When SHOEBALOO asked DZAP to handle the design and execution of its 600 m² headquarters in the Argentinië building on the banks of the River IJ in Amsterdam, the client’s needs were clear as crystal. And DZAP’s completed project exceeded the client’s expectations.
