Located in Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), SOLENA by RASPOUTINE brings a Mediterranean-inspired dining experience to Dubai's hospitality scene. Designed around relaxed dining, sunset drinks and evening entertainment, the venue combines a distinctive restaurant interior with an expansive terrace overlooking the DIFC skyline.
HKZ Interior Decoration delivered the complete interior fit-out for SOLENA, covering structural modifications, flooring, bespoke joinery, custom furniture, decorative elements and electrical works.
The interior features a warm material palette of burgundy, cream and natural wood tones, complemented by patterned flooring, marble-look table surfaces, upholstered seating and abundant greenery. These elements come together to create a setting that balances restaurant functionality with a relaxed, contemporary atmosphere.
Entrance and Flooring Works
The entrance establishes the character of the venue through its illuminated architectural frame, glass doors and custom entrance gate. Timber finishes and integrated planters add warmth and create a distinctive arrival experience.
HKZ carried out floor-raising works and tiling throughout the designated areas. The scope also included the demolition of an existing planter to create additional floor space and accommodate the revised layout.
The flooring features a distinctive red patterned finish that adds colour and visual character to the dining environment.
Custom Furniture and Joinery
Bespoke furniture and joinery form an important part of the interior. The dining areas feature custom upholstered chairs with cream finishes and burgundy detailing, complemented by dark timber furniture and marble-look table surfaces.
HKZ completed custom furniture and joinery works, including the fabrication and installation of the bar counter, DJ counter and service station. Custom planters were also incorporated into the space, introducing greenery and helping define the dining areas.
Bar and Entertainment Areas
The bar serves as a central feature within the venue, combining a statement counter with custom detailing and a dedicated back-bar joinery installation.
The DJ counter was also included in the fit-out, supporting the venue's evening entertainment setting. Together, these elements connect the dining and bar areas while maintaining a consistent interior language.
Shades, Curtains and Electrical Works
The project included the installation of shades and curtains, contributing to the comfort and functionality of the covered dining areas.
Electrical works were also completed as part of the overall fit-out, supporting the venue's lighting and operational requirements.
