Concept

As for the conceptual idea and the function, in the first order is the function and then, combining with a rational and qualitative solution, we have reached an architecture with clear volumes and simple, safe and precise lines. So the plan of the Church derives from the function, which has the shape of the Latin cross and is based on the golden ratio (Divine Proportion). The basic concept for designing the church is the cross, i.e. the four sides of the cross or the 4 movements of the believer when making the cross. One of the main elements of a church is the entrance, which also symbolizes the portal of heaven.

The church building consists of 4 volumes or 4 movements that can be seen from the front of the church, which represent the 4 Evangelists: Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. The gate of the church, together with the entire front part, was designed to present this building as a saint thing and the inspiration came from the Aureole of the saints or the crown of Christ's light, which appears in the form of rays and covers the entire Church. In each section inspired by the Holy Trinity, the shape of the Aureole of the saints is presented. On each side of the entrance there are 7 windows that emphasize the entrance more and present the 7 Sacraments on one side and the 7 days of the Creation of the World on the other side.

In the middle of the entrance is extended the companel which represents a God and a single Church that extends vertically to allude to the transcendence of the prayers of the faithful to God up in the sky. The companjeli also consists of an "infinite" number of connecting rods, where the words of Mateo have as symbolism that forgiveness should not be 7 times, but endless times.

And finally, the shape of the 3 abalones at the entrance represents the Holy Trinity and the Resurrection of Christ on the third day. The church ends with a deambulatory or semi-spherical shape which represents the Heavenly Cup.

Starting from the primary function of the object, it is necessary to achieve a functional, architectural and compositional solution, which will present a harmonized whole. The object consists of a entirety, while it is divided into groups: the entrance group, the grouping of the main space for prayer and religious ceremonies, the grouping of the auxiliary alcoves on the two sides of the entrance that serve to prepare the clergy for the celebration of mass as well as of his assistants, the choir as well as in the end part of the deambulor where the culminating part of the church is where the altar is positioned. The positioning of the church object is in the east-west orientation, being in accordance with tradition, as well as the rules of the orientation of Catholic churches. There are 3 approaches to the church building. The main entrance is from the western side, as well as entrances from the northern and southern sides. The architecture is typical modern (arrangement of spaces), but there are also postmodern features in certain elements.

Construction

To achieve the space with dimensions of 24.10 m wide and 16.30 m high, we applied the ram constructive system from reinforced concrete. The foundations are made of reinforced concrete supplemented with water protection additives and insulated with all the necessary waterproofing layers. All construction works are made of reinforced concrete.

Facades

The facade, without a doubt, in cultural and ecclesiastical objects, should not only be the boundary that separates the internal space from the external space, but in itself it should contain a strong and meaningful connection, which in this case, as it is said in the concept of the building, has a powerful subjective role such as the halo, where a play of light and shadow is created from this, which inside gives the feeling of calmness, while from the outside the experience of the halo.
