ArchZone as Architects

The project involved the reconfiguration of the outdoor areas of an existing suite hotel complex. The aim was to repurpose existing areas and upgrade the overall space. Our goal was to provide an integrated user experience through the appropriate selection of uses.

First, we defined the entrance to the complex, providing a welcoming prelude to the experience that follows.

The guests’ movement in the space was highlighted with the use of architectural elements and a variety of materials.

Arched metal structures add different qualities to the space. The various areas are gradually revealed to the guest in an interesting way, suggesting the different uses.

The guests’ movement across the various areas was a key element of the study. We used green elements to ensure easy and comfortable access to all areas of the plot, without violating the architecture of the surroundings.

A key limitation of the design was the fact that the existing stone floors had to be preserved.

The use of ceramic tiles and white pebbles created a combination of colors and textures that highlights the charm of the space and creates a harmonious aesthetic result.

The passageway leading to the hotel reception is flanked by the water element, creating the sense that you are floating as you walk. In addition, the water helps create a sense of calm and relaxation, welcoming the guests upon arrival.

We accentuated the entrance to each suite, designing it in a modern and minimal style that aids the guests’ comfort and relaxation.

A jacuzzi was installed outside each suite, upgrading the guests’ experience and adding a touch of luxury and relaxation to their stay. The exterior space of each suite was clearly defined, keeping in mind the guests’ privacy and independence.

A bar, open air cinema and lounge were added to the outdoor common areas, creating the Symmetry Suites multipurpose area. Modern architectural elements and simple decoration create a relaxing atmosphere, offering a unique guest experience.

The bar was integrated into the pre-existing pergola at the center of the plot. It was secluded from the rest of the space and turned into a beautiful and functional dining area. Comfortable seating and breakfast tables were added. The space was decorated with wooden paneling, wicker elements, plants, and lighting, creating a relaxing vibe.

The furniture was specially selected with comfort and luxury in mind, while the planting and lighting create a pleasant atmosphere.

Black details and furniture add a modern and contemporary touch, creating an interesting contrast with the natural shades of the surroundings. This gives the space a dynamic character, creating a modern and bold effect.

Next to the enclosed bar area we created the open air cinema, which also doubles as a lounge.

This area is separated from the rest of the space with planting beds, adding a pleasant touch in addition to providing fresh air. In the interior we added wooden deck levels offering great views towards the cinema. In this way, we offer guests a unique experience of entertainment and relaxation, combining the art of cinema with the atmosphere of an elegant and welcoming space.

Overall, the project reflects our respect for the existing architecture and the need to renew and upgrade the space. By adding new elements and preserving the old ones, we created a functional multipurpose area that supports new uses, offering the guests a great experience.
