The client, a high-profile corporator from the Thane Municipal Corporation, desired a bungalow that epitomizes class, quality, and luxury. The design requirements included 5 bedrooms, visitor and informal living areas, and amenities such as a spa and jacuzzi, all distributed within a G+1 structure covering approximately 10,000 sq. ft. His emphasis was clear about the bungalow not only meeting the functional needs but towards also reflecting the client's prestigious status.

The bungalow's innovative design centers around four double-height frames positioned at the cardinal points, each serving distinct functions. These frames, featuring full-height glass, offer panoramic views and bathe the interiors in natural light throughout the year.

The vertical frames are elegantly intersected by a horizontal frame that forms both the outer deck and the main entrance, creating a harmonious blend of vertical and horizontal elements. The plinth, appearing to float mid-air, adds a dramatic contrast between weight and weightlessness. The material palette enhances this architectural marvel, with concrete texture paint on the horizontal frame, wood effect tiles on the vertical frames, and travertine stone adding rich textural depth to the elevation. This design not only exudes luxury and sophistication but also seamlessly integrates the indoors with the natural surroundings.

The bungalow's design meticulously adheres to Vaastu principles, fulfilling the client's desires. The ground floor features two bedrooms, a visitor area, an informal living space, and a kitchen with dining area.

The first floor houses the remaining three bedrooms and an open-to-sky terrace. Each bedroom is complemented by a private balcony, offering personal outdoor space.

Additionally, the spa and jacuzzi are thoughtfully positioned on the terrace, providing a serene retreat within the home. This design combines traditional Vaastu elements with modern luxury, creating a harmonious and elegant living environment.
