Located in a wooded site in a rural village, the brief was for a low energy building to tread lightly; to be woven into a mature Birch Woodland with as few trees lost as possible and using sustainable materials in it’s construction, primarily timber. Flexible and fluid spaces with a strong connection to the exterior evolved from the brief, the site and the solar orientation. .
