The Japanese outdoor brand “Snow Peak” and the brand “TOKYO DESIGN STUDIO New Balance” by NEW BALANCE have collaborated for the capsule collection.This is the display designed for it.

I tried to put the outdoor rope work into the design for this project. The rope tightended up by tension, and it repeats wheeling. This motion makes the geometry looks like a curved surface.

On the upper surface, the intersection of the rope becomes the fulcrum of the hanger, on the other hand, while on the lower surface, the trekking-like undulation becomes the display of the shoes.

I used everyday items for this project : the perforated angle and the ropes for packing.They are not usually used for finishing, but I attempted to their function to be revealed.

This idea is also related to the TOKYO DESIGN STUDIO New Balance’s concept “REVEAL" .
