Toy Store is an innovative speakeasy cocktail bar designed for a unique hidden experience in the heart of Katowice. Nestled within a 150m2 old tenement building, the venue features large street-facing windows that invite curiosity while concealing the enchanting interior behind what seems to be a simple toy store for children. The design concept masterfully blends a whimsical toy store with an intimate cocktail bar, creating a captivating dual narrative.

Upon entering, guests step into a charming toy store filled with shelves of colorful toys and books, where a hidden button unlocks the passage to the clandestine bar. This “gate” leads to a mesmerizing space adorned with shimmering gold accents, a mirrored ceiling, and plush seating, evoking a sense of mystery and elegance. The design embraces a rich color palette, focusing on dark, theatrical tones that infuse an atmospheric charm.

Careful selection of materials plays a crucial role in defining the distinct identities of both spaces. From rustic wooden shelves to gold-toned bar finishes, each element was thoughtfully chosen to enhance the sensory experience. The integration of playful lighting, including neon signs and disco balls in the restrooms, further elevates the adventurous spirit of the venue.
