On the mezzanine of a legend
Hala Koszyki is an iconic venue that holds a unique place on the list of must-visit destinations in Warsaw. The hall itself and the projects located within it have become a benchmark for similar spaces emerging in other cities. Two of our exclusive interior design projects are already located in the hall: Bar Centralny and Zachodni Brzeg Koszyki. It would not be an exaggeration to say that we know this venue better than most, and designing elegant interiors is our specialty. For this reason, we were delighted to take on the design of a unique cocktail bar on the mezzanine

Whisky, Wine, Cigars
The main task set by the Investor was to design a unique interior for connoisseurs of wine, cigars, and whisky. A place that is egalitarian yet refined, intended for people who appreciate high quality—both in the drinks served and in sophisticated interior design.— Details
A spatial challenge
The venue described has a unique location. Unlike other bars and dining spaces, it is situated on a mezzanine level. Its elongated shape and the historic trusses supporting the barrel vault create both limitations and design challenges. Additionally, individual interior elements such as brick walls and structural components are under strict conservation protection, and any intervention required consultation.

Bar, Light, Structure
The final result is a venue with a bar placed centrally between two trusses. Its distinguishing feature is a barrel-vaulted canopy, referencing the shape of the space, with elongated elements that refract light. The positioning of the bar naturally created two zones. The one on the left, along the wall, features comfortable semi-circular booths as well as low seating and tables. The zone on the right includes an impressive wine display and higher seating. Throughout the venue, glazed display cases have been installed, containing books, albums, and accessories that contribute to a club-like, intimate atmosphere. The whole is complemented by warm, ambient lighting that adapts to the time of day.
