Known from Warsaw’s Powiśle district, Dziurka od Klucza has moved to a historic fort in Ursynów. Translating the intimate, romantic, and fairytale-like character that Dziurka was previously known for into a former military building — overseen by a heritage conservator, with a much larger area and a complex layout — was no small challenge.

With heart for Guests
The project is the result of close collaboration with the owners, who pour heart, passion, and dedication into each of their restaurants. Their openness and authentic vision allowed us to create a space where design is not an end in itself, but a tool for shaping mood and fostering connections. We warmed the raw, brick interiors of the casemates with light, color, and the spirit of Italian hospitality — full of joy, closeness, and naturalness. Warm materials, soft textures, and friendly lighting were introduced to balance the industrial character of the space. The result is an interior with soul — a place that combines simplicity with elegance, where the atmosphere makes guests feel at home, even while in the heart of the city.

Warmth that creates atmosphere
From the entrance, guests are greeted by massive, custom-made doors featuring a stained-glass design created from an original concept, as well as an elegant counter. Doors, reminiscent of those associated with Powiśle and traditionally adorning walls, appear here in a new interpretation, tailored in shape to the interior. The heart of the space is an open kitchen finished with handmade tiles, along with a pizza oven and pasta workshop visible from the dining area.

Hospitality enchanted in every detail
The space is a blend of contrasts: we planted flowers in military ammunition crates, placed comfortable velvet sofas against walls adorned with a camouflage pattern, and broke up the raw ceilings with golden accents and decorative touches. We created magic while honoring the history of the place.
