Nonna Design manufactures the furniture of a private home in Murcia. Project managed by Dot-partners architects.

One of the main objectives of the project was to maximize space and ensure that everything was hidden from view. To do this, Dot-Partners joins Nonna Design to develop details and constructive solutions.

A curious aspect of this renovated apartment, located in a central building in the 60s, is that the existing partitions have been removed. The house is organized by panels: pivoting and sliding. Hiding shelves, cabinets and outlets. Nonna Design manufactured and installed all these panels and furniture.

In this project, all pillars have been hidden. The challenge was to hide fittings and hinges. In this way, design and functionality are integrated. Every corner is designed in detail and it is made with the highest quality finishes.

The dark flooring in smoky oak creates contrast against the crisp white walls, the paint as well as the lacquered wood, and serves to balance the composition.

The architect Txema Ballester says " At sunset, the home’s walls are tinted gold from the artificial lighting."
