City Villa is a new project designed by an award-winning (A’Award & Competition winner, Architecture MasterPrize honorable mention) architectural bureau Kerimov Architects. The architects were asked to plan and design the whole villa community in Kraevsko-Armenian village near Sochi.
Due to the proximity to the city center, suburban architecture is keen to tilt toward the urban style, for instance, there are more strict shapes and straighter combining of the volumes that allow the user to feel private, observe nature and look at the sea. The used materials, like smooth sandstone and heat-treated wood, are also more inherent to the urban environment.
The 312 sq. m villa has two floors. The first one consists of spaces with more public use like a kitchen, living room, sauna, bathrooms, and service rooms. The second one aims to be more private with the home office, master bedroom, 2 bedrooms, wardrobe and bathrooms.
