Alumitex® ACM is a high-performance aluminum composite cladding system that combines the clean aesthetic of solid metal with the weight advantages of a composite construction. Each panel consists of two aluminum face sheets bonded to a lightweight core, delivering a rigid, flat panel at a fraction of the weight of solid aluminum plate.
Finished with PPG Duranar® fluorocarbon coatings meeting AAMA 2605, Alumitex ACM provides outstanding long-term colour stability and a 20-year finish warranty. Three systems are available: the 2-coat Duranar® for solid colours, the 2-coat Duranar Sunstorm® for mica finishes, and the 3-coat Duranar XL® for solid, mica, and metallic effects.
Panels are fabricated using Elemex's proprietary Tru-90® route and return process, delivering crisp 90° corners without exposed fasteners or caulk joints. Installation uses Unity® Attachment Technology — a concealed aluminum clip system that accommodates thermal movement while delivering a flush, fastener-free elevation.
The system operates as a pressure-equalized Rear Ventilated Rainscreen (RVR), providing continuous drainage and drying behind the cladding layer. Ontario Panelization supplies and installs the complete system, from shop drawings through final inspection.
