Product description

BabyLED represents an engineering achievement—it measures less than 3" tall from top to bottom, sporting a 2" housing height and accommodating ceilings up to 1" thick. BabyLED is the shallowest recessed LED housing in the world, allowing the seamless integration of great lighting with ductwork, building infrastructure and electrical in any plenum space, anywhere.


BabyLED comes with multiple trim options, all with a 3" aperture, and the die cast aluminum bevel is available in white, statuary bronze, black, and metalized grey finishes with custom color trims available.


BabyLED delivers over 1150 lumens at over 53 lm/W, and 900 lumens at over 64 lm/W, in a variety of classic white color temperatures. All USAI Lighting products, including BabyLED, feature the lighting industry's leading color consistency maintained within a 2-­‐Step MacAdam ellipse, making fixture-­‐to-­‐fixture color variations indiscernible. BabyLED is available with 3 dimming driver options, including low voltage 0-­‐10V dimming (provided standard), and optional line voltage dimming with forward-­‐phase Triac and reverse-­‐phase ELV protocols. BabyLED was designed with effortless serviceability in mind: both the light engine and driver are easily field replaceable from below the ceiling plane, making maintenance possible without damaging the existing construction or compromising valuable time.


All USAI Lighting LED products are warranted for 5 years. At "end of life, " BabyLED can be restored to brand-­‐new operation via the simple removal and replacement of less than 0.02 of the total fixture material components. At that point, customers may send their discarded LED light engines back to USAI Lighting for recycling, where they will be collected and converted into reusable material.
