Fortius 52 by DORSIS is a concealed aluminium door-frame and door system designed for flush, full-height interior openings, including acoustic, safety, and EI 30 fire-rated applications. The system combines a T6060 aluminium-alloy concealed frame with a 52-millimetre door leaf, giving the assembly enhanced strength, rigidity, and dimensional stability, even in larger-format doors up to 3500 millimetres high.
Designed for long-term performance, Fortius 52 supports durable interior construction through its robust frame, thicker MDF cladding, and resistance to twisting during prolonged use. The door leaves are treated on all sides to improve performance in areas with higher humidity, while the concealed frame allows the wall and door surface to read as a continuous architectural plane.
Sustainability benefits are linked to longevity, adaptability, and reduced need for premature replacement. The system’s durable construction supports an extended service life, while its range of finish options — including veneer, lacquer, HPL laminate, paint, plaster, wallpaper, or tiling — allows Fortius 52 to be integrated into different interior contexts and future design updates. DORSIS also uses a highly durable polyurethane lacquer and an environmentally friendly five-layer lacquering technology, supporting a resilient finish suitable for long-term use.
