The Knauf FrameTherm Roll 32 is a glass mineral wool insulation roll designed for thermal insulation in timber frame walls and warm pitched roofs. It offers a low thermal conductivity of 0.032 W/m·K and achieves a Euroclass A1 non-combustible fire classification. The product is manufactured using Knauf’s plant-based ECOSE® Technology binder, which reduces embodied energy compared with traditional binders and incorporates a high proportion of recycled glass.

FrameTherm Roll 32 also holds product-level environmental product declarations (EPDs) under EN 15804 + A2 and Eurofins indoor air comfort certification, and contributes to BREEAM credits through its material properties. Additionally, Knauf’s wider mineral wool range has achieved a BES 6001 ‘Very Good’ responsible sourcing certification, indicating ethically sourced constituent materials.

These characteristics support energy-efficient building fabric performance and align with broader sustainability considerations in high-performance construction.
