GIEMME SYSTEM is a patented folding door system made from plate crystal glass completely frameless with an aluminium load bearing system. It’s characterized by the fact that there are no joins between the individual doors but only seals made from transparent polycarbonate.

The supporting structure is made from anodized aluminium (20 microns) or lacquered in polyester powder. The doors are made from 10 mm tempered glass, with polished edges. The screws and bolts are made of stainless steel. Everything is made to measure.

The doors fold open to the side and since it is a modular system, there is no limit in terms of width. Its main feature is the absence of frames between the individual doors, creating an all-glass effect that gives light to every room.

The practical and light sliding system allows you to shut out the environment and gain a closed, sheltered space in only a moment.

A particular characteristic of the Giemme system is that the panels are not single but united in groups of 3, 4 or more (depending upon requirements) and therefore it’s much quicker and easier to move them. The doors slide on the upper support rail with special Delrin® bearings that makes movement extremely lightweight (there are no wheels on the ground since the doors are hung from above).

The full opening of the system and the minimum size of the folded panels creates an extremely flexible environment and helps you to realise the full potential of the space.

Protection from atmospheric elements is guaranteed by transparent polycarbonate seals between the individual doors and from a system of seals in EPDM. GIEMME SYSTEM is constantly tried and tested in compliance with applicable regulations (UNI EN 14351-1: air permeability, water tightness and wind and impact resistance).

Refined and elegant, the GIEMME SYSTEM folding glass doors are well suited to any type of architecture. A corner without mounts allows you to see “all-glass” when the doors are closed and enjoy the corner free from obstruction when the doors are open.

In addition, the special “curve-angle" system applied to the corners without mounts allows the doors to exceed angles of 90 degrees, making it particularly useful in situations when you want to fold the doors up to one of the two sides, perhaps against a wall or other niche.
