wearing the same brocade dress of the “Great
Countess” from which it takes its name, one
of the most important and fascinating Italian
medieval figures. The charm of her personality,
of her time and of the “Ars Canusina” inspired
by her, were an ideal model for maestro Sergio
Leoni, who was able to give the ceramics, in a
simple yet captivating manner, the extremely
