The Bombas Gens Centre d'Art, owned by the Fundació Per Amor a l'Art, opened in July 2017 after restoring the former Bombas Hidráulicas Carlos Gens SL factory, built in 1930, in Valencia's Marxalenes neighborhood. Once abandoned, the building faced fires and collapsed until its transformation into a cultural center. It has since become a venue for exhibitions featuring national and international artists, focusing on photography and abstract art, and now houses over 1,500 works by more than 150 artists. In 2019, the Generalitat Valenciana recognized Bombas Gens as a "Project of Social Interest" for its significant cultural impact. Inside, an exquisite lighting design by Flos, featuring Zero Track projectors, enhances the art display, providing ideal illumination for galleries.
