On a beachfront location, the hotel offers full views of the pristine beach of Alyko on the island of Naxos. The main building borrows its form from the local heritage building "pyrgos" meaning "tower".
Built from the 13th to 19th century, the austere constructions with small openings were protecting the landlords from pirate invasions. The rooms are developed in cubic forms which are randomly arranged as a village. The lower part of the complex has a continuous front of suites that embraces the composition following the uneven lines of the plot's border, like the Naxos city castle. The private pools of the suites smoothly dissolve into the natural landscape of the sand dunes, whereas their roofs are planted with the same endemic plants thus integrating with the environment.
