Baan Rama 2 is the private house sit in the edge of Bangkok. For the first time we visit the site, we found that it has a very big area at the center of the house and not define anything for the big area but stunning garden.

So the idea is to make the space for the right function and bring the garden inside.

We start the split the area by planing and change the entry door from the garage to the garden and make a new foyer that will face the garden for the first step to get in the house. The corridor with the walnut wall will make everyone feel warm and lead to the main living room. 

The garden room is the heart of the house. We put the mirror wall opposite to the garden to make the room bigger but still warm and clear for relaxing and reading in teh afternoon.

We design the dining room with the big wood table and has a little fun with detail of roller blind that screen the pop-image and frame it like a picture to make the window not boring and still let the light through inside.

The client loves the 50s-60s style furniture and we think that great to make interior has it's own character. So we has found some fun furnitures and images to enhance her style.

When the house is finished the client said that her family are very happy and enjoy the main living area , especially the garden room that make them feel truly relax and has special time at the weekend.
