bistro La vie

For a casual French bistro, an interior design with comfort and a proper sense of tension was pursued.

Only materials such as brass, thick solid wood, and antique scaffold planks – those that would have enhanced characteristics as they age – were used for finishes. Brass was used as eye-catchers for lights, hanger pipes, furniture knobs and handles, window frames, decorative screws, etc., in order to provide gorgeousness to the interior. The antique scaffold planks add a casual atmosphere to the space, preventing it from being too sophisticated.

A cave-like space with a table is not completely isolated, yet blocks views from other tables and creates a comfortably enclosed feeling.

The solid walnut bar table is for both cooking and serving food. People can enjoy their meals while enjoying conversations with the chefs and watching them cook.
