This is a space designed to meet the dynamic needs of a family consisting of a couple and their two children. Although they do not live in Varginha, the family visits the city in Minas Gerais monthly for work and therefore needed a space that would serve as support during these days. The goal of the project is precisely to provide comfort and practicality for the hustle and bustle of everyday professional life.

Each element of this space was carefully selected to create an environment where functionality intertwines with aesthetics, resulting in an atmosphere of serenity and efficiency. Soft colors and neutral tones dominate, providing a blank canvas that highlights the intrinsic beauty of the details.

In this project, no changes were made to the layout of the original plan, so architectural solutions were used that provided the division of the social space without abandoning the harmonious visual result.

The brise-soleils are a wonderful architectural solution, which in addition to the harmonious visual aspect favor lighting and air circulation.

In the division between the social and private areas, the traditional doors with hinges were replaced by a door with a mimicry effect in carpentry. The solution was replicated in the hall space that gives access to the family bedrooms, and gained a modern touch with recessed door handles and indirect lighting in the bollards.

Behind the built-in doors are the private areas; three bedrooms designed to meet the needs of each member of the family without abandoning the sophistication, modern design and neutral tones of the project. Even with the workstations, the children's bedrooms maintain the lightness and coziness worthy of an everyday refuge.

Our biggest challenge was the lack of technical space in the apartment, since the clients wanted to air-condition it. That's why the air conditioning condenser was placed on the gourmet balcony and hidden with carpentry, which also created a space for a sideboard, decoration and super cozy drinks. The balcony, which was previously open, was closed with glass so that the space would be even more useful for family leisure moments.

The kitchen's priority was practicality. Its charm comes from the cladding, which has a design inspired by the tile decoration of the London subways of the Victorian era, combining aesthetic benefits and functional importance in a dream combination! The flow connects the quick-service counter with the dining table, creating a connection and expanding the space.
