The roof emerges from the street, dissipating the strong Mistral wind. The section favors the entry and circulation of the sea breeze throughout all spaces. The overhangs also passively regulate the interior temperature. The house can remain open, enjoying the freshness of the sea and the Mediterranean climate.

An access ritual is created with contrasts, entering beneath the roof, with an intentional presence of penumbras. Upon entering, one contemplates the beach and the different bays. The boundaries between interior and exterior become blurred, establishing interesting oblique visual relationships.

Traditional construction systems and local materials are used, with a contemporary conception. The handmade brick walls with local aggregates, the carefully fitted wooden beams in a systemic structure, and the ceramic roof tiles.
