In an effort to meet clients' needs, Casa CK, with a total area of 295 square meters, was designed based on a few formal premises, such as the composition of two basic volumes: a cube and a rectangular prism, emphasizing rectangular lines.

Softening the solids, the voids create spaces like the terrace above the social area and the balconies of the upper floor. The volumetry results from the superimposition of two prisms, with the upper one rotated, forming overhangs in both directions.

Exploring the surroundings and turning towards other areas of the condominium, the residence has a strong connection to the landscape view. Within the boundaries of the lot, the integration of the social area on the ground floor is quite open and connected to the external areas of the garden and the pool.

Prioritizing a healthy living environment, all bedrooms have openings facing the sun. A lateral terrace allows contact with the outside of the residence, even on the upper floor.

The program of the ground floor focuses on the social area, resolved in a rectangle, which includes the living room, dining room, kitchen island, and stairs to the upper floor. A service line on the west side accommodates the bathroom, laundry, and storage. Meanwhile, the upper floor contains the suites, balconies, and terrace.

The construction technology used was reinforced concrete. All walls are also made of concrete but are filled with a central layer of EPS for better thermal and acoustic performance, as well as to provide lighter loads.

The materiality of exposed concrete is present in almost all the walls of the house. The ceilings are made of white gypsum, the window frames are dark PVC, and the glass is transparent. The staircase steps, with a metal structure covered in wood, are suspended and fixed to one of the concrete walls. Large glass openings ensure that artificial lighting is not needed during the day in the staircase and intimate circulation areas.

The industrial language is also reflected in the metallic elements of the guardrails, chimney and barbecue ducts, and cylindrical water tanks, contrasting with the straight lines.

The materials are showcased in their original form, combining textures of concrete, metal, glass, and wood. Inside, all spaces feature polished burnt cement flooring, executed and polished on-site.

In the garage, a slatted wood panel covers the main wall, where the main access door is camouflaged by being made of the same material.

In the kitchen, a large polished concrete island organizes the space while separating and integrating it with the dining area. The social area fully opens up and integrates with the back area of the lot, where the external social area of the residence, with a pool and seating area, is located.

The contrast between the straight, marked geometric lines and the sinuous shapes of the pool and landscaping is evident.
