The building is located in the historical center of Sarnico, a complex of houses arranged around a courtyard to which you access through an arched sandstone portal.

The intervention concerns the enlargement of the existing attic of an apartment

developed on two floors and the consequent requalification of all the interiors.

The new volume, simple and regular with a double-pitched roof, proposes the archetype of the house, distinguishing itself from the rest of the building for the metal cladding of the facades and roof. The search for the geometric relationship between the existing and the new volume has represented the most significant challenge of the project.
