A house for an international family, a French father, a Russian mother, 3 children whom all lived for many years in Laos now found their dream home on the sunny cost of Catalonia.

Bloomint renovated the interior by creating playful spaces filled with hiding spaces, mezzanines and plenty of free space to play for the children. As well as a workspace for the parents with views on the sea. Raw concrete surfaces contrast with light colors and natural wooden floors to create a welcoming house for family and the many visitors to come along.

The connection between Inside & outside was important to us as kids grow at home but also connected to nature, this is why same materials are used in & out to keep the same sensations, a feeling of continuity. A place to play, work, live and be in contact with nature.

The father who grew up in the French alps has great memories of tree houses and forts that he wants to share with his children now, we therefore created a mezzanine on top of the father’s workspace, a play with volumes, in natural materials such as massive wood and black iron.

A pleasant Family house with a Mediterranean style, a bespoke design for a unique family.
