Metcalfe converted three historic, late 19th-century brick carriage houses in Center City Philadelphia into a single dwelling, creating a unique, light-filled, dramatic, and highly personalized artistic retreat. The renovated space now boasts an expansive artist's studio on the first floor and open and airy living spaces above.
