The client approached the studio with a request to design a cozy apartment for a large family, blending minimalism with elements of Japandi style and incorporating a supply-and-exhaust ventilation system.
To accommodate daily life, the design required spacious bedrooms, a large kitchen-living area, ample storage solutions, and a separate laundry room. The ventilation equipment was housed within the laundry room, while the air diffusers were integrated into a track lighting system—effectively combining mechanical infrastructure with lighting.
A key design feature is a double-sided, suspended cabinet positioned in the center of the entryway. It provides storage accessible from both sides while serving as a striking compositional element within the entrance zone.
