The clients approached the studio with a request to design the interior of a family apartment, based on visual references they had selected. The space needed to be suitable for the family’s daily life, accommodating various ways of using both shared and private areas.
Key requirements included a spacious kitchen, multiple bedrooms, light-filled rooms, a functional cooking area, and a large walk-in closet. The design was shaped by the existing layout of the open-plan space, the placement of load-bearing structures, the location of balconies, and the positioning of utility systems.
The primary design solution involved combining the kitchen and living room, while incorporating the option to visually separate them using glass partitions. A dedicated room was set aside for a large walk-in closet, and a laundry area was integrated into the hallway, ensuring it remains easily accessible to all family members.
