Emapta is a global outsourcing services company specializing in the formation of dedicated work teams in various areas, including administrative support, finance, marketing, call centers, and information technology. Its presence in Colombia has experienced sustained growth in recent years and, as a result, the need arose to consolidate a functional, modern headquarters aligned with its organizational culture—one that would serve not only as a workplace but also as a representation of its values and vision at a regional level.

The new project is located in the G10 Tower of the Connecta 26 Business Ecosystem in Bogotá, a mixed-use complex that combines offices, retail, and complementary services, characterized by a strong focus on sustainability and the quality of life of its occupants. The selected office, previously fitted out by Amazon, had a high-quality finishing base, which made it possible to take advantage of existing conditions and design a strategic intervention that optimized resources without sacrificing identity or functionality.

Based on the initial layout provided by the client, the Contract Workplaces team took on the comprehensive design of the headquarters. The work consisted of reviewing and adjusting the spatial distribution, redefining materiality, and redesigning the lighting scheme in order to adapt the space to the client’s specific requirements.

The project, developed on a 2,380 m² floor, incorporated a series of key spaces: private offices, meeting rooms of various formats, collaboration areas, break zones, and a social area with a coffee break station. The proposal aimed to create a versatile, comfortable, and representative environment, promoting the dynamics of hybrid work along with spaces for individual focus and group interaction.

From the main entrance, a spacious reception functions as both a welcome point and a reinforcement of brand identity. From there, users access the operational zone, organized under an open-plan scheme located along the perimeter of the floor to maximize natural light and take advantage of exterior views. Next to the workstations, the coffee break area was conceived as a flexible space that fulfills a dual function: a rest area and an informal meeting point. This is complemented by a recreation area with a more relaxed atmosphere, designed to foster rest and employee well-being.

The office also integrates spaces designed for ideation and agile work, such as brainstorming rooms equipped for creative dynamics, phone booths for private calls, and training and meeting rooms of different sizes.

Aesthetically, the proposal aimed to generate a balance between sobriety and warmth. Natural wood conveys closeness and comfort, while exposed concrete and dark-toned metal finishes add solidity and character. This neutral palette is complemented by chromatic accents inspired by Emapta’s visual identity: blues, greens, terracotta, and turquoise, applied to upholstery, partitions, and decorative elements.

Beyond spatial functionality, Emapta’s new headquarters represents a significant step in consolidating its corporate culture in Colombia. It is an environment that not only supports its collaborative work model but also reinforces the organization’s values and enhances the daily experience of its employees.
