Terra e Tuma as Architects

to live | to work | to live

The program is increasingly common, especially in large cities where the value of land and time are decisive. The area has become such a precious unit that it requires the project to build new relationships and re-signify the production of space. Time is key to finding new solutions in our lives. Establishes new systems
for a daily life that tends to be increasingly full of traffic/displacements and emptiness of stay/enjoy.

The program establishes a building for which there is no denomination, it is home and studio as well. Two distinct functions that the project sought to mediate and create a harmonious and functional.

Living and working come together in this space created to meet the needs of a client
who sought practicality in this approach without leaving aside the interdependence of functions.

In order to protect the autonomy of the sectors, the accesses are separated. The house was implanted in the highest and frontal part of the lot, and the studio at the back, taking advantage of the natural slope of the land, which provided the necessary ceiling height for the activity.

The two programs are located in an area with a privileged view, on the same level as the house. Pantry, changing rooms, patio and studio office overlook the shooting area from above and participate in the studio without interfering with their own intense circulation.
