"J. Davis House Condos by Mattamy Homes and Biddington Homes is a boutique-style condominium designed by Graziani + Corazza Architects Inc. and is located at Yonge Street and Belsize Drive situated within a block of the TTC Davisville subway station. This residential development is named after "one of Davisville community's most prominent founding citizens". This building is a proposed eigth storey structure (31.7 metres in height) with retail at grade and 206 dwelling units including 33 rental replacement units. The J. Davis House proposal includes the demolition of the existing rental apartments on site to be replaced with the 8 storey mixed-use building that will consist of units ranging from bachelor to 3-bedroom units. The tenants in those existing rental apartments will have the right to return to one of the replacement rental units in the J. Davis House and will also receive extended notice and financial assistance with the relocation. Total residential gross floor area for this buildingis 20,750 square metres and total retail area is 1,042 square metres. Of the total 173 condominium dwelling units available, 7 will be bachelor units, 110 will be 1-bedroom units and 56 will be 2-bedroom units.
