92 m² Apartment for a Family of Four

Originally in a developer’s finish, the space required adaptation to meet the needs of its future residents. During the design process, conducted in collaboration with the client, it became clear that storage space was a significant concern—especially for a family of four. A new functional layout was proposed, retaining the number of rooms while significantly enhancing the wardrobe and utility areas.

A walk-in closet was added to the main bedroom, a utility-wardrobe room was arranged in the corridor, and a hidden laundry space was incorporated into one of the bathrooms. These additions were achieved using openwork partitions, which ensured natural ventilation while also adding character and coziness to the interior.

The final layout includes a living area consisting of a living room, kitchen, and dining space, a master bedroom with a separate wardrobe, two children’s bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a wardrobe by the entrance corridor.

The design concept aimed to create a warm and inviting space enriched with raw accents. This was achieved through wooden flooring and metal furnishings. A brick motif was introduced, using cut brick painted white in the living area and bedroom, continuing into the kitchen and bathrooms with white ceramic tiles. The brick element fulfilled a key client request, as they strongly desired its inclusion.

The spaces are well-lit, thanks to large windows and a bright interior color palette. The monochromatic scheme is dominated by white, complemented by grays, wooden elements, and raw, dark accents. The dining area features an original vintage industrial lamp and a metal display cabinet with glass doors. Above the kitchen island, a metal shelf was installed. Wooden elements and numerous plants add warmth and create a positive atmosphere.

The apartment is both cozy and functional, with the entire space forming a cohesive whole. Despite the number of rooms, each family member enjoys their private space while the living area fosters shared moments together.
