A neoclassical house dating from 1875, incorporating decorative elements in the Louis XV style, is now divided into apartments. It has been restored to its original character following a restoration of the roof and walls in accordance with best practice.

The four facades were renovated, taking into account the different materials and construction techniques, after a thorough investigation and fruitful discussions with the Architecte des Bâtiments de France.
It was decided to apply a lime wash and mineral paint, a traditional process that reveals the relief of the facades. The upper base was reworked with rockwork and repointed with lime mortar.

The craftsmen faced multiple technical challenges when repairing the zinc roofing in order to reinvent a roof that met energy and architectural requirements: the roof incorporates thermal insulation and ventilation is ingeniously provided by a double strip of zinc astragal.
Each of the bricks making up the chimney stacks was hand-painted to restore the original flamboyant trio of colors: ochre, vermilion, and dark brown.
The marquee and metalwork—railings and shutters—were also restored with the help of an artistic ironworker and a master glazier.
