Decide 4AI & Orquest HQ playground

Decide4AI and Orquest are two sister start-ups that develop software for process optimization. Through their expertise in advanced analytics they help their clients improve the efficiency of operations through the automation of certain tasks.

Both companies share headquarters since their origins (Orquest was born as a product of Decide4AI), so their teams coexist and work in a very similar way.

Formed by a multidisciplinary group of experts in data analysis, programming and user experience, they transmit the most human side of the artificial intelligence they work with. With highly professional profiles whose friendliness and good humor are visible from the first contact.

After the pandemic, which revolutionized ways of working and especially our relationship with physical space, they realized that they needed to rethink their headquarters. With the rise of remote working (and consequently that of virtual meetings), they now needed much more meeting areas and space for calls.

Also, having spent almost 2 years working from home, everyone on the team felt that it would be interesting to have a more domestic environment that would allow them to feel the comfort of a homey space.

With this goal in mind, they embarked with 2BOLD on a co-design process to make an extension that would complement their openspace working area.

In response to their needs for versatility, dynamism and comfort, the proposal was conceived under the concept of a 'playground'. One of the keys to the proposal lies in the variety of uses (sofas, informal meeting tables, high tables, ideation corners, call booths and meeting rooms), which allows users to choose according to their needs.

On the other hand, the presence of both brands was essential for the proposal to be round, so the corporate colors were derived for its application to the space.

Finally, and with the intention of reinforcing the human spirit of the team, while generating an inspiring environment, a series of memorable characters were chosen to put a face to the history of AI.

David Cárdenas Lorenzo created customized illustrations for this space that now preside over each of the rooms.

Because inspiration matters.
