A residence of 330 square meters, was designed to host a family of four, in long, narrow corner plot.To serve the increased family needs, within the limited plot space, we designed a 4 store building, with 3 of them over the ground. On the ground floor, we have placed a internal heated pool, which during the summer months, it is easily be unified with the garden through the opening of the window panels. Children’s rooms and the playroom are on the first floor, whereas on the second floor, there would be the shared areas such as the living room and the dinning room, as well as the kitchen.On the 3rd floor there is the master bedroom, with an in-suite bathroom and walking-closet, as well as the owners’ office, isolated from the rest of the house, and with direct access to terrace (/roof) garden. Finally, a gym and a sauna, were placed in the basement, as per the owners’ request. ​The design process, had the goal to create a clean geometrical volume, only interrupted by the residence’s balconies, which are covered by uneven (irregular) vertical metallic stripes.The lower part of the building, has ben covered with natural stone, adding solidity to the construction’s compact monolithic volume, and emphasizing the entrance area.
