In the project for the new headquarters of a construction company in prefabricated concrete structures, the challenge was to take the most of the available constructive technology. How to create an innovative space, with institutional presence and high environmental comfort using as raw materials the same pieces that are used for the production of industrial warehouses?

Firstly, we made the main element of the structure. Both internally, by waiving any type of lining or coating, and externally, when retreating the façade and creating a covered transition area. We stripped the building and show the slender concrete structure apparent. Similarly, all facilities are there, within the reach, bringing the industrial nature of the company to the daily life of all who get involved with it.

Then we divide the body of the building into three distinct sectors, separated by gardens and vertical and sanitary circulation nuclei, providing abundance natural lighting and natural ventilation in all environments, differential for many temperature days pleasant, typical of autumn and spring where the company is located in the metropolitan region of Porto Alegre.

This set of small architectural gestures resulted in a low cost, but unique space. A high level of thermal comfort and flexible spaces that can adapt to the various possible demands of the company.
