When it comes to hospitals, health facilities, doctors’ offices and outpatient clinics, specific stringent requirements must be met, which in Italy are also dictated by local ASL regulations. In fact, they are extremely sensitive environments that require a floor highly resistant to foot traffic, easy to clean and safe to prevent bacteria and infectious agents.
Choosing flooring that is not suitable for the environment could cause management, cleaning and safety issues, so it is important to select the right finish.
For a dental office in Montevarchi, Arezzo, Newfloor produced and installed raised access floor with T38HAV panels: chipboard core with thickness 38 mm and density 720 kg/mc, aluminium foil on bottom and top covering vinyl Gerflor Mipolam Classic. As for flooring colour, green leaf was chosen to recall the company’s logo and beige for other areas.
The panels were installed on SNFL structure with light stringers and height regulation between 130-185 mm.
