The Sunrise Bank Orlando Headquarters renovation transformed a long-vacant, mold-infested basement space into a vibrant hub of high-end corporate offices, featuring 15 executive offices, support staff facilities, and a board meeting and event space. This project reinvigorated downtown Orlando by repurposing underutilized space and bringing high-level leadership into the heart of the city. In addition to its business operations, Sunrise Bank also utilizes the new office space to host various local organizations for meet and greets, networking, and informative sessions.
Key design strategies aimed to infuse natural light and an outdoor connection into the basement setting. To enhance the overall atmosphere, the design team leveraged innovative technologies such as LED lighting that imitates windows and skylights as well as AI-generated art. This emphasis on nature in the design addresses wellness and productivity needs of modern workers, making downtown Orlando an attractive destination for businesses and talent.
Local vendors like Loco Art and Gleman and Sons Custom Woodworking were also instrumental in bringing the project to life and enhancing its ties to the downtown community. Collaborating with local talent underscores the project’s commitment to supporting the downtown community and fostering a sense of place and identity within the urban landscape.
