Owner/family profile (information provided in your office briefing at the time of project development).
A family with two daughters, who love to entertain, appreciate wine, art and needed a home office.
What were the owner's requests and expectations for the project and how were they met?
The apartment would be spacious, integrated, with a generous dining room.
Is it construction, renovation or interior design renovation? If it was a renovation, what was the internal distribution of the property like afterwards?
Apartment on the ground floor.
What is the inspiration and conception of the project?
Contemporary and cozy. Very familiar and full of personality.
Is there a starting point that you consider to be the key to the project?
The pink sofas are certainly highlights, as is the all-glass wine cellar for approximately 1,000.00 bottles. Also an old family piece of furniture (bombê dresser).
Are there any previous features of the property that were maintained because they were special or at the request of the owners?
We maintained the flow of the original plan. The plan is very square and forms a circle in circulation, separating the service, social and intimate areas very well.
What factors were analyzed when choosing covering materials? What materials stand out? Are there any ecological or technological materials that deserve to be detailed?
We used Vermont Limestone for the floor, concrete slats on the living room walls and many Sucupira wood panels.
