Yıldız Kule rises along Turan Güneş Boulevard as a contemporary landmark positioned between the dense urban fabric of Ankara and the open landscape of Dikmen Valley. Conceived not merely as a building but as a transitional space, it acts as a mediator between city and nature.
The design approach is based on a multi-layered ground condition that connects the boulevard with the valley. A public void at the lower levels integrates circulation, retail, and gathering areas, creating a permeable transition. In this way, the sloping topography is transformed into an experiential sequence for users.
Although Yıldız Kule brings together diverse functions, its identity is defined by more than programmatic variety. Openings and voids along the façade establish a dialogue with inner courtyards and gardens, adding lightness and permeability to the overall form.
Instead of a closed mass, Yıldız Kule is envisioned as a layered and responsive structure. By balancing transparency and solidity, public access and private use, it becomes a unifying element at the heart of the contemporary city.
