The M55 windows feature a special profile designed and produced by Capoferri, composed of solid and tubular steel elements combined with an integrated wooden core that acts as a thermal break.
This composition allows full customization of the profile dimensions according to the designer’s requirements, overcoming the limitations of standard systems. Unlike conventional solutions, no off-the-shelf profiles are used: each element is engineered, produced, and tested in-house.
The connection between components is achieved through a custom-designed mechanical fixing system. The frame profile is welded at all four corners, eliminating the need for brackets or rivets. All welds are executed to the highest standards and remain invisible.
The M55 series is characterized by a clean and minimal design, with no visible glazing beads and reduced profile sections. The internal and external face thickness is 5 mm. The total profile thickness is 55 mm and accommodates a double-glazed unit of approximately 35 mm; increasing the glass thickness results in a proportional increase in the overall system thickness. This approach allows the profile to adapt to different glazing thicknesses while preserving a clean and minimal appearance and ensuring compatibility with any glass specification, including triple glazing. The system integrates silicone gaskets to ensure high performance in terms of air and water tightness, as well as acoustic insulation.
To meet specific dimensional and weight requirements, Capoferri designs and manufactures dedicated hardware systems in stainless steel. Each component is engineered according to the opening type and sash weight, ensuring durability, reliability, and smooth operation.
M55 systems can be manufactured in:
• Stainless steel (matt, satin, polished, or RAL coated)
• Bronze (light, medium, or dark oxidized finishes)
Thanks to its advanced engineering, M55 achieves top UNI certification classes for air permeability, water tightness, and wind resistance, along with high levels of acoustic insulation.
