YES 60 XT Storefront System

The YES 60 XT offers a fresh approach to storefront systems at a time when architects are looking for low-cost, energy efficient alternatives to curtain walls, particularly in retail, low-rise offices and high-rise, mixed-use buildings. The system is designed to accommodate taller and wider storefront openings with spans as high as 14 feet, which provides for optimum natural light. The 6” thermally broken storefront system delivers the thermal performance necessary for all eight climate zones including the 2015 IECC, with a U-factor of 0.38. The YES 60 XT’s dual pour and de-bridged thermal barrier incorporates Mechanical Lock Profile technology, which increases the strength of the thermal break, significantly reducing heat transfer and keeping internal surfaces warmer - even in the most extreme climates. This reduces condensation to ensure the most comfortable interiors for building occupants with a CRF of 72. Additionally, the YES 60 XT offers outstanding thermal performance utilizing standard 1″ insulating glass and high performance glass enhancing efficiency. The system offers a sill flashing design, with no blind seals, tall back leg for enhanced water resistance and patent pending three-point attachment of end dam. The option of side-lite curtain wall covers, pre-engineered corners and an alternative anchoring system further expands design choices.
