333 StK

333 StK is a mid-rise residential development on St Kilda Road, where contemporary apartment living is built around greenery, light, and the Australian instinct to be outside. The concept reaches back to the distinctly Australian idea that home extends beyond four walls into open air and greenery — here translated into generous sunrooms, climbing plants, and private outdoor spaces along one of Melbourne's most iconic boulevards, tree-lined, tram-threaded, a few minutes from the bay.
The architecture by Rothelowman features a curvilinear form that echoes the nearby coastal landscape, accompanied by a materials palette that is texturally rich yet understated. Greenery is woven into the exterior, softening the building's presence on the street and reinforcing the connection between inside and outside that runs through the whole project.

CUUB Studio's visual approach followed that logic. The renders move away from dramatic lighting and strong contrasts, choosing soft natural daylight with the warm quality of Australian sun. The goal was to show the building at its most liveable — sunrooms with floor-to-ceiling windows, interiors that open onto outdoor spaces, the gentle blur between interior, greenery, and city.

These apartments are for residents who value calm, comfort, and proximity to nature without giving up the city. The building earns its appeal through how it sits on the street and how the spaces inside feel.
