The concept of the projectof this apartment sited in the center of Turinis to contrast a wide and broad living area with a sleeping area characterized by cozy and more private rooms. In the living room the use of the resin coupled with the brushed and thermo-treated oak for the flooring creates a contrast: the first material is dense and harmonious and the second is typified by a strong character. Together they give balance to a room in which couches, carpets and armchairs create a comfortable environment. The two main structural columns in this room are emphasized elements that host two bookshelves made by wood and black iron. They flow from the floor to the ceiling, without marking a clear boundary between objects and architectural elements. The service area of the kitchen is enriched by technical elements that are enhanced by the use of fine materials. This is the case of the pantry sited in the kitchen access room, realized by old wood assembled like a filing cabinet. The main bedroom is characterized by three bearing walls with a concrete fair-face finishing that divide bed, walk-in closet and bathroom. This last room is also divided in distinct zones: bath tub, shower and toilet.
