Everyone included, challenged, successful
Project completed in 2011 in association with FNI (Fielding Nair International), this rehabilitation of a 2.400m² existing building houses, temporarily, the High School section of ISB.(International School of Brussels) The pilot High School is a temporary High School housed in an industrial three story 1960′s building and an annex. Teachers and students will have the opportunity to use this new space as a testing grounds for the Common Ground Curriculum for two years before they move into the New High School. The remodel was designed with evolution in mind. Interior walls can be easily removed if the school wants to start using the Commons even more to support multiple learning modalities. When the Elementary School is demolished to begin new construction, walls can be opened up even more and the building can continue to serve as a testing grounds.
